subjuggulating:

The Village of Wisdom. He read the mark a few times over and understood to the point where if someone were to ask “where am I” he could mirthfully inform them that they were kicking back in the smart village. Not that he understood what that meant or how he got there. Somehow, knowing just that was enough to keep him in calm and content.

Weird shit happened all the time, and he was obviously straight up brought here in part of a motherfuckin’ miracle. Time to continue on as a dedicated member of The Red Team? Good, those imp parties were a lot of fun. But, his opponents weren’t anywhere in eyeshot…? Maybe he’d need to lure them out with some homemade pies?

Yeah. No rush.

An instrument that belonged on a bicycle was being clutched in an ashen hand, firm enough to make little imprints but not create noise. The glaze in his eyes might have even suggested he wasn’t aware he was holding such a thing. The rubber bulb always felt nice in his palm, liable as he is to scare the shit out of himself with it later.
It was further unlikely that his entire collection of horns followed him to this realm, which was both good and bad (‘technically’ good, but Gamzee really liked those noisemakers) but one was better than none. Just wait until he notices the missing unicycle and pie fillings.

If the spirits were correct — and of course they were! — each Alternian troll was placed in a Village that housed their own sign. Just like how Aradia and Vriska had been placed in the Village of Strength, that held the Aries and Scorpio signs respectively. Which meant that if she traveled to the other villages, she would be sure to encounter the other trolls. The only difficulty of this task was to find each troll.

The low-blood prayed the spirits would aid her in her search. Even though they were rather selective of when they wanted to help. And do harm. Boy, who could forget that?

She could recognize those sagging pants, and horns (even that horn in this hand!) from anywhere! These two hadn’t interacted much — a majority of her comrades did not interact with her while she was dead, and when she was alive there were a few select trolls that she spent her time with — so she was not entirely sure how to go about greeting him. Gamzee had usually been on his horn pile, or danced around and preached about miracles. From his interactions with others, Aradia had concluded that he was a very laid-back individual. Although, she had to take into account that the majority of the time he had not been sober. His standing with the hemospectrum was not clear, and that did unnerve Aradia a tad bit. The higher blooded trolls (mainly a few) were very keen on the blood caste. During their time in Alternia, she did learn this the hard way — seeing as Equius insisted on referring to her as a low-blood whenever they spoke — and did not receive great treatment from a certain Scorpio either. Brushing back a lock of hair, Aradia took the initiative and approached Gamzee, a bright smile plastered onto her face.

> Aradia: Welcome your friend(?).

“Gamzee, it seems as if you have been brought here too!” The female began, stopping a few steps away from him. She glanced down to the horn in his hand and offered another smile, parting her lips to speak once more. “Isn’t that something. They allowed you to bring a horn with you here!”

==> Vriska: Attempt not to cringe.

Was it even possible to hide a grimace? Under such pretenses, the Scorpio’s visage would’ve contorted to that of mild indignation, but such feelings were not currently necessary. The nagging sensation of a past image prodded at her cognizance with remembrance. Remem8er, remem8er! The little irksome memory shouted at her. How could Vriska possibly forget???????? This was the troll who beated her to a pulp! Oh, her attention had definitely been caught now. As if the voice had not faltered her somewhat lively mood, Vriska’s brows furrowed slightly before she fully turned her body towards the oh-so-very-familiar physique of the lower-blood.

Fancy seeing you here, of all places,” she retorted rather blightingly, rolling her eyes with much peevishness as she could possibly muster.

Perhaps it was time to start on a new leaf. To start anew—holding grudges wasn’t necessarily something Vriska did. Or so she thought. It was obvious to her that Aradia, at her current state, meant no harm. Maybe it was time for this Scorpio to level it out somewhat. That being said of course, she would of course, never forget the little incident they had back home.

==> Vriska: Be a bitch.

Are you sure you’re relieved???????? 8n’t you afraid I might just, you know…” her eyes flickered somewhat suspiciously, a coy smile lingering on her azure lips, “drop one on you?” Despite the fact this Scorpio was not necessarily one for grudges, who said she could not have a little bit of fun? She let out a loud snicker, one impossible to hide. Hopefully Aradia had not seen that statement as anything but hostile—now, that, would be a reeeeeeeeal problem!

Whateveeeeeeeer! What 8rings you here of all places Aradia?” she queried as an afterthought, quirking an eyebrow in her general direction. “I haven’t seen any of the others here yet, assuming that they’ve 8een 8rought here, of course. Preeeeeeeetty sure we’re not here 8y coincidence.”

Relieved? Maybe she wasn’t too relieved to see her. Although, by now, Aradia was used to Vriska’s antics. Used to — but certainly not appreciative of. Vriska had always been that way, and she did take her actions too far sometimes! But what could she do about it? It wasn’t about blood colour, even though Vriska was considered to be on the higher blooded scale, whilst Aradia was far beneath her, nor was it about any type of kismesis rivalry! Aradia beat her up once before, and she was rather content with that. She made her pay, and since then, she did not have any other bones to pick with Vriska.

That isn’t to say, however, that she wouldn’t enjoy having a corpse party with Vriska’s corpse.

What a silly thought!

> Aradia: Ignore Vriska’s rude statements.

“This is my village, actually,” The troll explained, motioning over to the Village of Strength. “And by the looks of it, this is yours, too.” Whoop-dee-doo. Perhaps they could have a “troll’s night out” and do each other’s hair, and have sleep overs — and then be at each other’s necks, of course. It didn’t seem that they would get along too soon.

A bright smile appeared on her face, as she raised her index finger, speaking rather excitedly. “No, we are not here simply by coincidence. The spirits themselves told me that there is a reason why we’ve all been brought here. They also informed me that most, if not all, of our friends are here. We just have to find them.”

manipul8or:

A certain spidey troll had found herself lazing about the village of strength, flavous hues flickering ever so slightly as they regarded the rather strange zephyr, a chagrin marring her toneless visage. “Too 8right!” she’d murmur gloomily, squinting at the incredibly vibrant sun which loomed over the vicinity. A foreign world with foreign individuals did not equate to amenity. In retrospect, it was far from it.

Previously, she’d find herself keysmashing - the insufferable aftermath of… well. Boredom. Which was probably seldom brought when her alien brain circuits fried from the lack of activity and depravity thereof stimuli. Boredom itself seemed to slowly seep into her system - perhaps instead of being killed as an ultimatum of death - she’d die because of this… this gnarly thing called 8oredom. Again, manipulating her fellow trolls and going on adventures which she long thought of and finished were but an afterthought to the fast-paced developments of this world. 8luh, 8luh, 8oredom, 8luh!!!!!!!! The prospect of not being able to do anything she wished to do made the Thief grow impatient by the second.

… But just how many times had she said - or at least mentioned - the word boredom and its many forms?

Oops.

Reflexively, Vriska Serket reached for one of the many 8-balls from the bottomless pits which were her coat pockets, that had yet faced her fury, and shook it furiously. “Okay magic 8all. Let’s see what you can do.” Waiting for something to appear on this insufferable object was already boring enough [yes! that was eight! she thought.] Maybe next time, it read. Having enough, she smashed the dastardly object on the ground, breaking it into numerable pieces in the process.

This is soooooooo 8oring!” She groaned with much irascibility. Perhaps she’d go find someone to play around with—FLARP perhaps? Maybe, maybe not. Such a vast land would surely have treasure—loads of it! She should find someone to bring along on another adventure. Most definitely.

There was only one question remaining— who would be the first victim to fall for her every whim?

Perhaps if she would have known that being placed in the Village of Strength would reunite her with Vriska, Aradia would have requested a change in rooming - even though every other village and house disagreed with her own sign: aries! Even with her reaching God Tier, being revived from her dead self, and getting out of that robot that Equius had built for her, it seemed as if this archaeologist still harbored a grudge against the spider 8itch. Well, wouldn’t you, if she had been the reason for your death, as well as making your closest friend at that time kill you?

Yeah, it was a messy situation.

Although it was all in the past now, and she was 0k with it. Even before, she was not so worked up over her own death, and the fact that Vriska had caused it. Perhaps at first, but Aradia grew numb to it. As well as many other things. Perhaps it had just been the Dead Aradia speaking, but now - as an Alive version of herself, it was safe to say that she did not want to attack Vriska again. Killing her once was enough. Besides, the trolls had to stick together now, in this new universe. She couldn’t say that she was happy seeing Vriska again, but she would admit to being relieved to meet a familiar face so quickly.

> Aradia: Catch Vriska’s attention.

But how did she do that? Maybe it would be better to retreat or … — no! She would do no such thing! Whatever happened, happened. It would be best to stick together for now.

“Hello, Vriska!” She called, raising an arm to wave to the other. “I suppose I am a little relieved to see you here.”
